Don’t Let The Rocks Worship God In Your Place

Luke 19:37 – 40  And as he was now drawing nigh, even at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen; saying, Blessed is the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
And some of the Pharisees from the multitude said unto him, Teacher, rebuke thy disciples. And he answered and said, I tell you that, if these shall hold their peace, the stones will cry out.

One sign of a Pharisee is someone who wants to interfere with your worship. They wanted Jesus to rebuke the disciples for giving Him praise and glory. Jesus responded to Pharisees by saying that if they do not worship me the rocks will. Somebody or something is going to worship me. If you won’t I will find somebody or something that will. But we don’t want to let the rocks to cry out in our place.

The bible says that all the earth will worship God. I believe that every created being has an in built desire to worship their Creator. The bible talks about mountains, hills, and trees praising God. See below

“All the earth shall worship thee, And shall sing unto thee; They shall sing to thy name. Selah.” Psalms 66:4

“For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields shall clap their hands.” – Isaiah 55:12
