If My People…

Revival does not come by chance. Revival comes as a result of following clear instructions by God and taking action.
Don’t Count Me Out!
Posted March 29, 2009 by roborsCategories: Uncategorized
Many people are aware of the mistakes I’ve made. They are aware of the various struggles that I have had and still have. They are aware of the fact that I don’t have a denomination or organisation backing me and our ministry. They are aware that I sometimes miss God and make poor choices at times. They are aware that I struggle to learn the Finnish language, the 2nd most difficult language in the world. Many are aware of my childhood, that it was not good and that I struggled just to make it much of my adulthood. Many people have watched me struggle, make mistakes, and at times be discouraged and even depressed.
I have one thing to say to those people. If God be for me who can stand against me? God has forgiven me of every sin I have ever committed because I asked Him to. God is fully aware of every mistake I have ever made, He is fully aware of every poor choice I have ever made. God is fully aware of every struggle that I have, every issue, every hangup, and every problem that I have. He is fully aware of it all. Yet despite everything, He chooses to anoint me, to appoint me, to equip me, to commission me and to send me.
God has not given up on me and He has not given up you either!
Below are some videos from one of my favorite preachers, Noel Jones. They are on YouTube and I would like to share them with you here.
You Can’t Fix What You Don’t Acknowledge
Posted March 15, 2009 by roborsCategories: Uncategorized
If you had a splinter in your finger, before you could ever pull the splinter out you would have to first acknowledge that there is a splinter there in the first place. No one would try to pull a splinter out of their finger if they didn’t think there was one to be pulled out. They would go about living their normal lives untill they noticed something unusual about their finger. If for some reason they never felt any pain from the thing, who knows how long before they would notice something strange in their finger. By then there could be infection which is never good.
In the coming months I will begin acknowleging things that need to be fixed in the body of Christ with some customization on the nation of Finland, even though they can be applied to people around the world. People haven’t been acknowledging things that need to be fixed, at least not here in Finland from what I see. Everybody has happy, happy, happy, messages, never acknowledging the splinter that is killing them.

– David Wilkerson recently released a prophecy prophecying some pretty bad stuff coming up. Here is an excerpt of the prophecy:
“AN EARTH-SHATTERING CALAMITY IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. IT IS GOING TO BE SO FRIGHTENING, WE ARE ALL GOING TO TREMBLE — EVEN THE GODLIEST AMONG US.
For ten years I have been warning about a thousand fires coming to New York City. It will engulf the whole megaplex, including areas of New Jersey and Connecticut. Major cities all across America will experience riots and blazing fires — such as we saw in Watts, Los Angeles, years ago.
There will be riots and fires in cities worldwide. There will be looting — including Times Square, New York City. What we are experiencing now is not a recession, not even a depression. We are under God’s wrath. In Psalm 11 it is written”
Rick Joyner has a video response to David Wilkerson’s prophecy. He says that David’s prophecy is “a true word” http://www.morningstarministries.org/Groups/1000040545/MorningStar_Ministries/Media/VIDEO_Prophetic_Perspective/VIDEO_Prophetic_Perspective.aspx

There Is No Lasting Revival Without Reformation
Posted March 1, 2009 by roborsCategories: Uncategorized
Revival is not an event. It’s not a meeting. It’s not bringing a well-known speaker into town. Revival is not having an increase in numbers. There are many organizations in the world that have lots and lots of people, some that can be considered cults. Revival is not having more meetings. Businesses have meetings all the time. Revival is not having longer meetings. Businesses have long meetings all the time.
Revival is a transformation of individuals first, and then a transformation of groups. Very seldom does a whole nation experience revival, even though it does happen. True revival will result in major, significant changes. Revival is God finally having His way, indicating He wasn’t really having His way before. God wasn’t having His way because people weren’t allowing Him to have His way. Leaders were more concerned about being accepted by other certain leaders than pleasing God.
But then revival finally happens, people finally quit taking a poll to see if they should do something and they just do what they believe God is telling them in their heart to do. Is it wrong to take advice from some trusted advisors, absolutely not, I do that myself, but that is different.
Revival will cause division more than it will unite because the only people that will be happy about you having revival are people who want revival themselves. Everybody else will either be jealous, suspicious, critical, intimidated, etc. Control freaks don’t like revival because revival means you have to give up your old way of doing things and let God bring in a new way.
True revival therefore will result in significant change because that is the whole point. If revival doesn’t bring about major changes then what was the point of the revival? If things were fine before then why weren’t you having a revival before? I believe that God is waiting on us much more than we are waiting for Him.
And so when true change comes about then that means things begin to be put in order, back in their rightful place. God begins to fix things that were broke. God makes right those things that were wrong. People who do not cooperate with God will be moved out of the way so God can have His way. New leaders will emerge, new leaders will rise up. These will be men and women God is raising up. We ought not to restrain them but give them freedom to grow in their giftings. We need to allow them to make mistakes.
And so true change will result in reformation. Below is a definition of reformation:
Reformation: – 1. improvement (or an intended improvement) in the existing form or condition of institutions or practices etc.; intended to make a striking change for the better in social or political or religious affairs 2.rescuing from error and returning to a rightful course; (Reference: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/reformation)
The nation of Finland and most of Europe has been mostly out of order, spiritually speaking. Europe as a continent has been considered a post-Christian society. This is changing but it will only come when we realize that our old religious, politically correct ways of doing things will not be enough.
